Answered before you have to ask
Recommended from age 11 and above. Topics build in difficulty through the year, so the later material suits older students best. Email us first if you would like a view on whether it suits your child.
Every lesson has a core that all students complete and an extension for those ready to go further, and homework is set at two levels. We use the date of birth given at registration to set the right level, so a younger student is not left behind and an older one is not held back.
£324 for the year, or £32 a month for 12 months, which is £384 in total. Both include the workbook, homework and recordings.
Both. Lessons are taught live on Google Meet every Saturday at 11am UK time for 60 minutes, and every one is recorded so your child can catch up on anything missed.
Cameras stay off for the whole lesson, so no child is ever on screen. Microphones are in use. They start muted, and the tutor unmutes one student at a time for a short spoken answer, then mutes them again. A student cannot unmute themselves. Most participation is still by typing in the chat. Lessons are recorded, so a spoken turn forms part of the recording.
Every lesson is recorded and available to watch back, so your child can cover the topic in their own time and rejoin the following Saturday without falling behind.
A laptop, tablet or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection, and the Google Meet app. Headphones help but are not required. A working microphone is needed, because the tutor may invite your child to answer aloud. A built-in one is enough. No webcam is required.
Yes. A workbook and short weekly homework are included in both plans, set at two levels so the work suits your child. It is designed to take a small amount of time and to apply what was covered in that week's lesson.
Yes. Discounts are available for families enrolling more than one child, or more than one course. Email info@witfindacademy.com and we will apply it for you.
Saturday classes run in UK time. Complete our interest form and we will group families by time zone. Note that UK clocks change on 25 October 2026 and 28 March 2027, which moves your local start time by an hour.
